Following his debut on Dirt Crew Recordings, Marcus Holder presents his first release for his newly birthed EXU Records. Warmed, classic drum machines knock tough while lush strings swell in emotional intensity, distilling the essence of disco without becoming too saccharine-sweet. A vocal sample staccatos, injecting rhythmic call and answers with a Moog-funk bass all the while dubbed-out chords punctuate the smooth ride.
